Welcome to TELOS. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the TELOS application and website operated by TelosApp, Inc. ("TELOS", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using TELOS, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

TELOS provides AI-powered biblical mentorship through virtual mentors inspired by biblical figures. Our mentors use advanced AI technology (Google Gemini) combined with a curated theological corpus to provide spiritual guidance grounded in Scripture. The Service is available in multiple tiers, from a free tier (SEEKER) to paid subscriptions with additional features.

3. Eligibility 3. Elegibilidad
You must be at least 21 years old to use TELOS. This requirement is grounded in neuroscience: the prefrontal cortex does not complete development until approximately age 25, and we refuse to contribute to cognitive atrophy in developing brains. By using TELOS, you represent that you are at least 21 years of age. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that we reasonably believe violate this age requirement. Users aged 21–24 are automatically enrolled in “Formation Mode” (Modo Formación), which provides earlier cognitive health advisories: the daily usage notification is set at 1.5 hours (vs. 2 hours for users 25+). This is informational, not restrictive.

The SEEKER tier is free and includes access to Seraph (welcome mentor) with daily message limits. No credit card required.

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. All prices are in USD. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see your full card number.

We offer a 7-day refund policy for first-time subscribers. Contact billing@telosapp.org within 7 days of your first payment. After the 7-day window, refunds are not available for the current billing period.

Each tier includes generous daily message limits. These limits exist to ensure quality service for all users and to manage AI processing costs responsibly. Limits reset daily at midnight UTC.

Our Content: TELOS, including its design, code, theological corpus, mentor personas, and branding, is owned by TelosApp, Inc. and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works from our content.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TELOSAPP, INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Before filing any formal dispute, you agree to contact us at legal@telosapp.org and attempt to resolve the issue informally for at least 30 days.

The arbitration shall be conducted in English, and the arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding.

You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice to legal@telosapp.org within 30 days of creating your account. Your notice must include your name, email address, and a clear statement that you wish to opt out of arbitration. If you opt out, disputes will be resolved in the courts of Delaware.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States of America, without regard to conflict of law principles. For disputes not subject to arbitration, the exclusive jurisdiction shall be the state and federal courts located in Delaware.
